Why Choose Nobel STEAM Magnet?

 

Nobel STEAM Magnet Center offers programs in the STEAM theme to our Magnet students to foster a pathway of college and career interests that begin in middle school and continue in high school and beyond.

 

Nobel STEAM Magnet contains a diverse student learner population that includes GATE, AVID, EL’s, SPED, and diverse ethnicities and cultures that show interest and participation in our STEAM Program.

 

Nobel STEAM Magnet SBAC scores in ELA, Math, and Science have had consistently higher percentages in Meets and Exceeds than the host school and many LA Unified middle schools!

 

Honors level courses in Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, and Accelerated Math courses offer differentiated curriculum and instruction based on the needs of GATE and High Achieving students. Rigor is infused through reading complex texts. Project Based Learning Assessments prepare students to be college and career ready.

 

Intervention courses in ELA and Math are embedded in the school day for our nearly met/not met student population on the SBAC, as well as after school and Saturday Academy tutoring programs.

 
We have an award winning PTSA Program where all Nobel parents are encouraged to participate. We have a welcoming Parent Center and parent workshops and classes to better grow and serve our Nobel community!
