Character Project Activity.

Read your independent reading book. Book can be fiction or non-fiction as long as it has a main character or person to focus on. Directions for project will be given after spring break.

Act 4.2: Pg. 252-253 Copy 9 terms and define in you spiral notebook, note-taking section.

Activity 4.1: Finish Essential Questions and Unpacking EA1. Assignment will be collected at beginning of class.

Literary Analysis Essay draft must be completed, entered into Vantage, and revised/edited by Tuesday, March 21st. 

Edit and Revise Literary Analysis Essay. Please refer to rubric that goes with the assignment in your Springboard Book. Final Essay will be turned in via GoogleClassroom or printed copy. Paper must have Nobel Heading typed on top right, centered title, 1 inch margins, and use size 12 font. Do not use any bold type or underlining.

Paragraph of the Week (POW) #2 -- Please follow format on the worksheet. Make sure to see me if you need assistance.

Personal Narrative Draft:  Please finish the draft of your personal narrative and have it typed (and saved!) on your computer. Make sure that you can access your saved document to use at school.

Paragraph of the Week #1 -- You must complete each part of the TALES on the worksheet and then combine each of the TALES into a final completed paragraph. The paragraph must be neatly printed or typed double-spaced with your Nobel Heading. If done on the computer, use size 11 or12 font only and do not underline your title.

POW Practice: Sum-up and Complete Paragraph -- Write a closing sentence that sums up you claim. Then take each part (TALES) and write as one complete paragraph. You may hand write or print. Make sure to proofread your paragraph.

POW Practice: Explain -- In your own words explain why your example and lifted line answer the question.
