This is the beginning of a new season, "Spring." We are experiencing it in a way that is much different than other Springs. Find inspiration in what you see, notice, observe. Research the topic of spring. Read poetry about Spring. Then:
Write a poem that captures a moment in the rain, fresh air, dewy grass, brightly colored flowers, clean ground, whatever... one that SEEMS quiet but also carries some emotional weight. Is there something meaningful, or even contradictory about the subject of your poem and the themes of rebirth and renewal that are usually associated with springtime?
Do not worry about rhyme, or using a particular style. Send any questions you have.  Good luck!!

Due:

Assignment

The poem is due Friday. Please read the previous update for instructions. Since it is based on observation and/or research, please attach any notes you take and send the poem via google docs or Schoology.
