Zone of Choice is for 8th grade parents and students who live within the Zone of Choice attendance area. You can select your preferences for high school within the Zone of Choice. The high schools in the Zone of Choice attendance area are San Fernando HS, Cesar Chavez HS, and Sylmar HS. Magnet Tours are an important step in selecting a Magnet Program for your child. It is encouraged to have your child and you participate in the virtual tour! All tours are from 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM via live Zoom. We will begin with a greeting from Principal Horowitz and a narrated video preview of Nobel Charter Middle School and STEAM Magnet Center campus. Followed by an informational slide show of all of the programs offered at Nobel Charter MS, STEAM Magnet Center and School for Advanced Studies Program. We will conclude the presentation with Questions and Answers from the reservation form and side chat feature.

Coffee with the Local District Northwest Superintendent is intended to be an opportunity to meet with the LDNW staff to discuss current issues and exchange information. Each meeting will include presentations by PACE, Operations, Instruction, District/LD staff, and Superintendent Joseph Nacorda. Board Member representatives will also provide updates. These meetings will give parents the opportunity to provide input on new and continuing initiatives, and discuss the impact at the local schools.
