Suggested Supply List for Incoming 6th Graders

These supplies will be used for your Math, Science, English, and History Courses.  They will be used in order to teach students organizational skills.  
  • 1 Three-ring binder (2 inches)
  • 1 package of tab dividers w/ pockets for the binder (5 tabs in all)
  • 1 pencil pouch to be clipped into the binder
  • College lined paper (approximately 50 sheets to begin the year, more will be needed as the year progresses)
  • 3 sharpened/mechanical pencils (with leed)
  • 4 pens (2 blue or black, 1 red, 1 green)
  • 3 highlighters (various colors)
  • 2 erasers
  • Notebook paper
  • 1 pencil sharpener with cover 
  • 1 box of colored pencils (no more than 20 color box)
  • 2 glue sticks
  • White glue (like Elmers)
  • Scotch tape
  • Small scissors
  • Post-it notes
  • Earbuds or headphones (basic)
  • 5 composition notebooks (not spiral) because they need to last the entire year). History and English will use two for each. They cannot be combined.  The other notebook will be used for math.
  • The novel Flipped by Wendelin Van Draanen (Some students prefer their own copy versus borrowing from the school. It is available on Amazon for $9.99)
  • 3-5 whiteboard markers (preferably thin and different colors)
  • 1 College Rule - Spiral notebook for math
All necessary instructional supplies will be furnished to students without charge. Donations of school materials and supplies are much appreciated, but they are not required.
