My Profile

*My name is Gary Wagner and this is my first year at Nobel Middle School after nineteen years at Van Nuys Middle School. 

*I teach United States History 8 and World History 7. 

*I'm also the Assistant Turf Manager for the Cal-State University Northridge Baseball and Softball teams.  Turf Manager is a fancy name for one who mows the grass and takes care of the dirt areas of a baseball and softball diamond. 

*I played baseball at the University of Arizona and was a member of the 1986 National Championship Baseball Team.  BEAR DOWN!

*I'm fifty percent Italiano on my mother's side of the family.  My Italiano surname is Scalercio. 

*When tracing my family tree in Italia and claim to be a long lost relative of Romano General Gaius Julius Caesar.

*Personal Motto:  "What we do in life echoes in eternity."  Maximus Decimus Meridias.
