8th Grade Integrated Science
Welcome parents,guardians and students. My name is Mrs. McKeever. I am the teacher for eighth grade Integrated Science. This is a course for eighth grade students, which will use physical,life and Earth science to explore several major themes.
Students will participate in a number of hands on laboratory experiments that are meant to enhance the learning process.
Learning will be assessed by the successful completion of labs, projects, and reports. Quizzes, tests, and teacher evaluation of class participation will also be used to measure learning.

The NGSS: Next Generation Science Standards will be implemented throughout the year. This is an integrated model that incorporates Life, Physical and Earth Science standards. Students will be utilizing the Amplify textbook curriculum as mandated by LAUSD.
