Greatness Academy

The Greatness Academy is designed to provide African    American young    men access to engaging, personalized, and empowering life lessons and    pursuits. Each young man is mentored in key aspects of life, academics and    
financial success. There is availability for 25 boys to participate in The Greatness Academy. For boys grades 3rd-5th.

GoPass TAP- Free Ride for Students Pase gratuito para Estudiantes

LAUSD is partnering with  METRO public transportation to offer students a GoPass with unlimited tides at no cost on Metro bus and rail. Using the special GoPass TAP card provide by the school, your child can ride for free to and from school and on trips after school and on weekends, from now through June 30, 2023. Even if your child is already part of the TAP K-12 Reduce Fare program. If you are interested, contact the school Parent Center with your student’s name and grade,  818-773-4710 or at clara.castillo1@lausd.net, we will arrange to deliver the card to your student.

LAUSD se está asociando con el transporte público de METRO para ofrecer a los estudiantes un pase con viajes mareas ilimitados sin costo alguno en los autobuses y trenes de Metro. Usando la tarjeta especial GoPass  provista por la escuela, su hijo puede viajar gratis hacia de ida I vuelta  a la escuela y aún después de la escuela y los fines de semana, desde ahora hasta el 30 de junio de 2023. Incluso si su hijo ya es parte de TAP K- 12 Programa de tarifa reducida. Si está interesado, comuníquese con el Centro de Padres de la escuela con el nombre y el grado de su estudiante, al 818-773-4710 o por correo electrónico, clara.castillo1@lausd.net, nosotros le entregaremos la tarjeta a su estudiante.

This event will be hosted by Hooper Avenue Elementary Rainbow Club! Teachers, Zoom in with your class for the story, discussion, and an optional art activity. We recommend paper and basic art supplies for the activity. ASL interpretation will be provided.
