The PSAT 8/9 is specifically designed for current 8th and 9th grade students, when students are in 10th grade they will take a more advanced version of the test.

The PSAT 8/9 is designed to help students become familiar with the type of questions ant topics covered on the SAT. Students should take the PSAT more than once to prepare for the SAT. Although many colleges have chosen to become “testing optional,” the PSAT is still recommended to be used as a diagnostic to better understand students strengths and areas of need. Students will be able to view scores and will be given lessons to strengthen their skills through collegeboard.com. For more information on the test, visit the website and select PSAT 8/9.
